At the very end of the Gaspé Peninsula, along Route 132, the Auberge Griffon’s cottages were built from old barn planks and driftwood, giving them a warm, rustic look. Located near Forillon National Park, the place has a soul and a unique simplicity. Its founders have been working for 15 years to mold this place for foodies and nature lovers. Many attractions, including a bar-terrace, a beach and a food court can be found right on the site—a truly rad meeting place. Come for some exceptional canyoning, over emerald green pools, natural waterslides and waterfalls. Or take a cruise that leaves from Forillon National Park to explore this breathtaking and lively natural amphitheatre and observe whales, seals and seabirds. Mackerel fishing is also available.
