Chez Mel & Nico is a unique camping experience located in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, in the Mauricie region of Québec. This small-scale campground offers around 15 sites, blending wild camping with ready-to-camp accommodations. Nestled in a forest of pines and firs, it provides a peaceful setting while remaining close to the village’s amenities. To preserve the tranquility of the site, vehicles are left in the parking area, and a short walk (no more than 500 meters, with carts available) is required to reach the campsites. An on-site yurt also hosts a café serving light meals, along with cultural events and creative workshops, reinforcing the community and artistic spirit of the place.
